OUR HISTORY AND PRESENT
How we started and where we are.
Shalom Christian academy started in 2005 in a humble way. We started our classes in trees and some of the kids used to sit on the ground with out furniture in school. It was so hard for us to run the school especially during rainy seasons. At times we stop the students from coming to school since we had no classroom buildings.

This semi permanent structure used to have 2 classrooms.
In 2006 the conditions improved when we constructed a better semi permanent structure with poles and iron sheets roof. This structure is not enough for the school since it has only 4 classrooms and the school has 7 classes. We are still conducting some classes under trees as seen above.
Our need.
We thank God that the school has progressed from low levels to where it is now but this is not what we our school to be. At the moment we need to construct permanent buildings for our school such as;
- Classrooms,
- School library,
- Domitories.
- Dinning hall,
- Clinic,
- Staff houses,
- Kitchen etc...
Land.
The school a total of 20acres of land where we plan to build permanent buildings like classrooms, staff room, offices, dormitories, a unit for the deaf and dumb children, library, school clinic etc... On the same land we plan to have an area for games and sports, school farm and other developments.
