About Us.
Shalom Christian Academy is an interdenominational Christian school founded in 2005. Shalom Christian Academy was established with an aim of offering quality formal and life skills education to poor, orphaned, needy and other vulnerable children having difficulties to access education opportunities.
Shalom has a Nursery section which admits children between 4 - 5 years. And a primary section which admits children from 6 years to 14 years. At the moment the school has an enrollment of 115 children and every school term new children are enrolled.
Our school motto: Endeavor for life skills.
Besides teaching the basic education in class, we train children lifeskills in vocational trades. After the 7 years in our school we want to see that each child is equipped with a skill through they can earn a living or become useful to their families and the community they live in.
Our school mission. Empowering others to help themselves.
Through the lifeskills training we endeavor to empower them to help themselves.
School Vision. Life skills for self reliance.
We empower these children with lifeskills to ensure that after their 7 years in our school they are self reliant even to raise income to continue with further education in secondary and colleges.
